Baking your own bread isn’t that hard – try this one which does not even require any spread to be tasty!

Ingredients (1 bread) | 1 carrot 250g rye flour (Type 1150) 250g wholemeal spelt flour 1 half cube of yeast 1 tea spoon of salt 2 spoons of “Puder-Xucker” (or sugar) 50g chia seeds 30g goji berries 400ml rice milk some oat flakes |
Preparation
Mix flours, salt, sugar, chia seeds and goji berries. Shred yeast and add it afterwards. Peel and grate carrot finely, add carrot and rice milk. Knead dough for 5 minutes – keep in mind, the dough is really sticky.
Cover bowl with a towel and leave to stand for 30 to 45 minutes depending on your room’s temperature.
Oil baking pan and add some oat flakes and chia seeds. Add dough to baking pan and add some oat flakes and chia seeds as finish. Leave to stand for additional 30-45 minutes.
Preheat oven to 160 °C and bake bread for approximately 30-40 minutes. Check bread from time to time. Tastes best when served freshly!
